Acquired in October 2005. Guessing this to be a late-70s frame fabricated in the builder's Canons Marsh (UK) facility. Argos is still in business (fabricating, but now also offering repair, restoration and repainting services), and has been located in Bristol since 1990. (argoscycles.com)

Brazed with Reynolds 531 butted tubes. Cutout lugs w/ arrowhead motif. Original enamel paint, in what appears to be a non-standard colour.

I finished converting it to a fixed gear bike after two months of obsessive parts catching.
