Hey, Alfie. Got back from New York a couple of days ago and just had a chance to read your journal entries and check out the photos. Thanks for the vicarious ride! Next year you gotta do California. We need your spirit! Dale

Thanks for being a great tent mate and super moral support on the ride. I made it home safely on Tuesday with thirty minutes to spare before work. Keep in touch and let me know if you plan to do more rides....

I'll send you some e-mail pictures.

Alfonso, you living doll!
It was such a treat to run into you as you were cheering for the California AIDSRiders! Thank you for being there! We were blessed with great weather all week and lived for the 'loving' from each community we passed through and our friends scattered across the miles. Hope to catch up to you again real soon. I know a bunch of 'Wankas' that want to keep riding and I have CANADA to stay in shape for!
Ride on!

Seriously A, this is absolutely wonderful.
Thanks.

Wow! I'm so impressed. I've seen 100s of AIDS Rider's site, but this is the best I've ever seen.

Good luck on the Ride!

Alfonso,

I love your Web site. It's one of the only ones I've seen with such great content, design, and the photos are great. I am supposed to do the CAR8, but due to an illness a few weeks ago, I'm not sure I'm really up to the challenge or whether I should jeopardize my health at this point. I am going abroad starting this summmer for a few years, and I wanted to know what digital camera you recommend or DV camera? Your photos are very crisp and clear. I wasn't sure if you used a digital camera or just scanned normal photos on a quality scanner.

Thanks for all suggestions, in advance!
Elektra

Alfonso, Thank you for being an inspiration to me with you lightning speed downhilling on Wednesday. A friend passed on the pic of me and Betsey (the wonder twins) with a link to your exceptionally good site. Check out www.bethepeople.com
I hope will become addicted to the Rides and it will fuel your creativity, and help you realize your dreams. This year I will ride in my 3rd California AIDS Ride, and the first CANADA to US AIDS Vaccine Ride. I don't ever want to stop. With or without a reason for riding...you are a hero for making the committment. Thank you for Riding!
Your AIDSRide Sister,
Hut

Hi Alfonso ... I did lose a very funny (humorous) uncle to AIDS in 1987. Hopefully, he'll be helping you along that big nasty big hill outside of some Connecticut town. He might make you laugh though. :-> Cheers, Joe

Just [made a donation] under your name. You know, the one from SF to LA wouldn't have the humidity that NE will have! I know someone here who doing the same (SF/LA, never rode that far, is now up to 60 miles in a day. love mom
